Jules Joseph Reggio Jr. passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the age of 76. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in some way throughout his life. He was the cherished husband of the late Dorothy Geneva Wible Reggio for 49 years. Loving father of Jules J. Reggio III, Dayna Ostendorf, Wendy Bailey and Pamela Nobles. Father-in-law of Susan Reggio, Mark Ostendorf Sr., James H. Bailey and Lonny Nobles. Son of the late Helen Larmann Reggio and Jules Reggio Sr. Brother of Beverly R. Landry (the late Milton) and the late Doris Baker (Rudy) and Lois Dieck (the late Carl). Proud grandfather of Angela Ostendorf, Heather Reggio Frazier, Mandy Ostendorf Brady, Mark Ostendorf Jr., Christopher Ostendorf Sr., Jules Reggio IV, Joshua Reggio and Katie Bailey. Great-grandfather ofDominic Prattini Jr., Madison Smith, Kailee Ostendorf, Preslee Smith, Chloe Ostendorf, Cameron Reggio, Christopher Ostendorf Jr., Aaliyah Reggio, Milania Reggio and Maverick Frazier. He is also survived and fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Jules will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and brother, who treasured his family. Jules was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. His passion was fishing with his buddies and woodworking. Relatives, friends and employees of Domino Sugar Refinery, Textron Marine & Land Systems, St. Bernard School Board, Terese's Top Works, Enven Energy, USDA & Conoco Phillips 66 are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A funeral mass will begin at 2 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
