Northshore Mandeville Kiwanis Club Makes Donation for Tornado Disaster Victims

Body
On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, the Northshore Mandeville Kiwanis Club visited the St. Bernard-Arabi Kiwanis Club to make a donation to their Tornado Disaster Fund of $500. Ken Digby, of the Northshore Mandeville Club, stated that while he lives on the Northshore he has a camp in St. Bernard. Whenever he comes to the Parish he stops to get a local paper and inevitably finds the St. Bernard-Arabi Kiwanis Club somewhere in those pages doing good work in their community. This prompted him to speak to his club about making a donation to help any victims in the future that the St. Bernard-Arabi Club may wish to assist. The presentation of the check took place at the club’s weekly luncheon at Rocky and Carlo’s Restaurant.

But I kid you not.
