Zeta Gives St. Bernard "a Good Punch," Leaving many without Power
With the November 30 end of this historic 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season just over a month away, it appeared that St. Bernard Parish was about to escape with no significant impacts. Many storms, when they first entered the Gulf of Mexico, had southeastern Louisiana in the centers of their projected paths—often, it looked as though St. Bernard was due to endure the worst. Yet, as those storms slowly approached the parish, sometimes waiting until they were just a few hours away from landfall, they all turned off.
