Over 100 volunteers were at the St. Bernard National Cemetery on May 23 to place a flag on each of the 18,000+ grave markers in honor of Memorial Day. Volunteers were Boy Scout Troops, the St. Bernard Fire Department, active military, retired military, veterans and members of the community. All volunteers showed respect for those who have gave their lives for our freedom. It took a little over two hours to complete the task. Some say it was done in record time. God Bless Our Troops!
