St. Bernard to vote on council term limits Saturday
Citizens of St. Bernard will vote this Saturday on term limits for Parish Council members.
Council members are currently limited to two fouryear terms in St. Bernard. A proposed Home Rule Charter amendment on the Dec. 8 ballot would extend the limit to three four-year terms. A “yes” vote on the amendment is a vote in favor of extending term limits. A “no” vote is a vote to keep the limit at two terms.
