St. Bernard and Corps signs Wetlands Restoration Design Agreement
St. Bernard Parish Government is partnering with the US Army Corps of Engineers for a wetlands restoration design agreement.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, and Parish officials signed the design agreement for the Louisiana Coastal Area (LCA) Beneficial Use of Dredged Material Program (BUDMAT) project in St. Bernard Parish. “The BUDMAT program allows the Corps to make better use of dredged material when it is feasible to do so,” said New Orleans District Commander Col. Michael Clancy.
