Ochsner is Sold on St. Bernard
Ochsner Health System St. Bernard Parish Hospital CEO Kim Keene and Director of Community Relations Emily Arata presented the St. Bernard Parish Council with a $200,000 donation for the Sold on St. Bernard marketing campaign at the council’s Nov. 6 meeting in Chalmette. Ochsner has operated St. Bernard Parish Hospital for the past year after striking a deal with St. Bernard officials to take control of the thenstruggling medical center. District A council member Gillis McCloskey reminded St. Bernard citizens that they still own SBPH, but thanks to resources made available through Ochsner “healthcare has never looked so good in St. Bernard.” Pictured are, front row from left, Arata, McCloskey, District D council Member Wanda Alcon, Keene and District E council member Monty Montelongo. On the second row are St. Bernard CAO Ronnie Alonzo, District B council member Nathan Gorbaty and At-Large East council member Kerri Callais. On the back row are At-Large West council member Richie Lewis and District C council member Howard Luna.
