McGoey announces his candidacy for Judge, Division A
William M. “Billy” McGoey, Republican, has announced his candidacy for the parish-wide offce of St. Bernard Parish, 34th Judicial District Court Judge, Division “A.”
Billy was born and raised in Arabi, where he currently resides with his wife, Kathy and his daughter Meredith, who is a registered nurse working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Billy graduated from St. Robert Bellarmine and Holy Cross High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctorate from L.S.U. Law School.
