Disney TV series filmed in Chalmette now airing
Jason Waguespack, the Head of Possibilities at The Ranch Film Studios, announced nine television series and five feature films were shot toward the end of 2020 in the Greater New Orleans Area in a recent Facebook video.
Disney's Secrets of Sulphur Springs, one of the nine television shows filmed at The Ranch and other locations such as the Frederic Sigur Center in Chalmette, is presently airing on The Disney Channel on Friday nights at 7 p.m.
"It follows Griffin Campbell and his family as they move into a seemingly haunted hotel in the town of Sulphur Springs [Louisiana]," Waguespack described. "Filled with mystery, thrills and even time travel, this show should be fun and exciting for the entire family."
In another Facebook video uploaded last Thursday, Jan. 21, Waguespack stated he, his wife and their two daughters enjoyed watching the series together. The pilot episode aired on Friday, Jan. 15.
