Biannual Inspections of Fire Hydrants Not Related to Amoeba Deaths

The St. Bernard Parish Fire Department began their biannual inspections of individual fire hydrants on April 1. The fire department will take six to eight weeks working Tuesdays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to complete their assessment of all 2,500 fire hydrants in St. Bernard Parish as part of their spring check-up for the Property Insurance Association of Louisiana.
