Doris B. Hall Evansville, IN Doris B. (Weiskopf) Hall of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at her home at the age of 91. Doris was born in New Orleans, LA, on August 6, 1922, to the late George and Mabel Weiskopf. She later moved to Chicago, IL, where she met and married her husband. They started their family in Chicago, but later moved back to New Orleans, where they raised their two children. They remained in New Orleans for many years, where they had many family and friends nearby until Hurricane Katrina hit on August 29, 2005, when they moved to Evansville, IN, to be closer to family. Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan D. Hall; sisters, Mabel Prest, Violet Ricourd; brothers, George Weiskopf and Stanley Weiskopf. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ernest H. Hall, Sr.; son, Ernest H. Hall Jr.; daughterin- law, Christie Hall; grandchildren, Victoria Hall, Spencer Hall, Alexander Hall, and Elizabeth Hall; brother, Rodney Weiskopf. She served as a cook for St. Bernard High School for many years and enjoyed cooking for her family as well. She was a devoted wife and mother and friend and enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and spending time with her family. Her interment was at Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville, IN.
