Former St. Bernard Parish Assistant District Attorney, resident of Arabi, and co-defendant in a federal bank fraud and money laundering case Glenn Diaz was found guilty on April 25 on charges of defrauding First NBC Bank. According to a Justice Department press release on the conviction, Diaz was convicted on bank fraud conspiracy, money laundering conspiracy, and eight counts of bank fraud.
The St. Bernard Port, Harbor and Terminal and Associated Terminals will hold their third annual tour on May 25, 2023. The boat tour will be a part of an event the businesses hold to give the community a better insight into the Maritime industry.
