Meraux Foundation Sponsors Nunez Robotics Program

The fledgling Robotics program at Nunez Community College in Chalmette is expanding thanks to a generous grant from the Meraux Foundation. The STEAM Division (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) at Nunez fielded its first Robotics Team to compete in the First Lego League Competition in 2021.

Port NOLA Continues Studies, Designs, Permitting Process for LIT

Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) continues to steadily move through the process of developing their proposed Louisiana International Terminal (LIT) in Violet, Louisiana. At the September 26 Port NOLA board meeting, commissioners unanimously approved numerous resolutions that enter the port into new agreements or amend previously approved agreements for work related to the LIT project.

The coming Presidential Election should alarm everyone. At a time when America needs someone to unite the nation and project a strong front against our international opponents, we have instead a President who can barely hold a conversation and a leading opponent, Former President Trump, who behaves like a loose cannon.
