The St. Bernard Parish Government (SBPG) held an emergency council meeting on Tuesday, August 29 in order to handle an issue with their legal representation in regards to the lawsuit filed in early August against the Port of New Orleans. In addition to this lawsuit, SBPG also hired legal counsel for a lawsuit against SBPG filed by the Port of New Orleans in Orleans Parish.
